ISTORE

With the return of iStore to Peru, and its subsequent evolution into what we now know as iShop, a unique opportunity emerged to redefine the operational model of technology retail.

Brief

Modulor took on the challenge as a strategic partner, designing a comprehensive solution to support its territorial expansion in a fast, coherent, and efficient way.

Challenge

The brand required a system adaptable to multiple locations, capable of:

  • Faithfully representing Apple’s global design values.
  • Integrating quickly and smoothly into shoppi

A modular system was developed, composed of more than 300 pieces made of metal, glass, and recycled cardboard. Each component was designed to fit seamlessly within a system that:

    • Can be assembled and disassembled in just 3 hours.

    • Is easily transportable and reconfigurable.

    • Is sustainable, efficient, and visually consistent with international standards.

    ng centers with different configurations.

  • Facilitating transport, assembly, and disassembly without the need for civil works, prolonged timelines, or specialized technical personnel.

The challenge was to develop furniture that was functional and aesthetically aligned with the Apple universe, while also responding to the conditions and dynamics of the Peruvian and Latin American markets.

Solutions

A modular system was developed, composed of more than 300 pieces made of metal, glass, and recycled cardboard. Each component was designed to fit seamlessly within a system that:

  • Can be assembled and disassembled in just 3 hours.
  • Is easily transportable and reconfigurable.
  • Is sustainable, efficient, and visually consistent with international standards.

Outcome

Modulor developed a retail system that enabled the brand to:

  1. Achieve immediate scalability and international expansion: Grow rapidly in Peru and project itself into new international markets such as Mexico.
  2. Unlock franchise potential: Its operational efficiency and aesthetic consistency established a franchisable and scalable platform, opening new opportunities for commercial expansion with low operational risk.
  3. Drive innovation and sustainability: The design incorporates principles of sustainability and innovation, using recyclable materials and efficient assembly processes that reduce environmental impact and optimize implementation at each point of sale.
